ASVT does not have a facility; all of our rescue pets live in volunteer foster homes. The adoption fee is:

• Dogs/Puppies - Already spayed or neutered - $250.00 and up
  • ​Not yet spayed or neutered - A $100.00 spay/neuter deposit will also be collected at the time of adoption. The deposit will be returned when proof of spay/neuter surgery is received by ASVT.
• Cats/Kittens - Already spayed or neutered - $75.00
  • ​Not yet spayed or neutered - A $50.00 spay/neuter deposit will also be collected at the time of adoption. The deposit will be returned when proof of spay/neuter surgery is received by ASVT.

A pet adopted from ASVT has received/will receive:

• Spay/Neuter surgery
• 1-year Rabies vaccine
• Microchip
• Core Vaccines
  • ​Dogs - DAPPv (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 1 & 2, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus) and Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
  • Cats - FVRCP (Feline Rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia)
• ​Wormer
• Flea & Heartworm Preventative
• For Dogs (over 7 months of age) - Heartworm Test 
• For Cats - FIV/FeLV test (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus/Feline Leukemia Virus)
