Founded in 2003, SmartK9s is owned and operated by Kristie Niemi. Kristie has over 26 years of experience in dog behavior and dog training. She has worked with all breeds, mixes and temperaments of dogs, and uses positive motivation to help owners build better relationships with their dogs.
SmartK9s is NOT an obedience school that uses a cookie cutter approach to dog training. When you work with SmartK9s, you will get one-on-one attention and receive training that is customized for your dog and your goals. Kristie believes in “real world” training, so lessons are held either in your home or in a public place you would normally take your dog, like a park. She will not sell you a package of lessons, unless you sign up for group training. Every family’s needs are different, so you determine how much training you need or want. |
